If Only it Were that Simple....

This is one of my favorite sites to visit during lag time at work. (Shhh!) Mostly because she updates on a regular basis and, as a young single gal-on-the-go I can relate. I suspect she may be a little right of center, but she doesnt make it obvious so I forgive her. We cant all be perfect! Today she had a link to this site. My Result is below.

What philosophy do you follow? (v1.03)

So I am officially a hedonist. This is ironic considering how much time I spend worrying about things. It does make a bit of sense though since I do spend a lot of time trying to be happier. My mother thinks this is some sort of modern-day psycho-babble B.S. that people are in a constant search for happiness. Back when people had real things to worry about and occupy their time they didn't spend nearly as much time trying to "get in touch with their feelings." Oh well, I am a product of modern times...and if I want to make myself continually happy I will dammit! At least "Divine Comand" came out 0%.

Update (4/22/05) I realize that my last statement may be misinterpreted so I am back to clarify. I personally don't care if I offended the Wacko Religious Right but I think it only prudent to point out that I DO beleive in God. I just don't beleive He (or She as may be the case) has some preordained set of rules that all of us have to follow. And no, the Bible doesn't count. It was written by White Male (most likely heterosexual) members of an ancient tribe... and has at the most a passing value in today's world. The only appropriate thing to come from the bible is Jesus' statement to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
