If Only it Were that Simple....

So the Repugnant Right and the Pussilanimous Left have decided to play nicey-nice. Lets all hold hands and sing We are the World (side note: I have recently been made to feel like an old coot by some teeny-bopper who gawked at me when I happened to mention that I actually participated in that feel good session, Hands Across America).

Although I hate to even vaguely feel anything that might look like an agreement with that conniving bastard Frist on anything, I have to admit that I was just as upset with the Senates compromise (read: running away with tail between legs) on filibusters. No, I have not aligned myself with the Dark Side. I am upset (though after all this time I am not surprised) that the dems have ONCE AGAIN bent over for the right. Already one judge (who BTW for those of you on the right is about as activist as they come) has sailed through the confirmation process. Frist, on the other hand, has been pouting on the sidelines because 1) he now feels a certain sense of lossof ultimate power 2) his rightist capitalist cronies arent getting their way. And we all know what the latter means.sayonara dinero! I guess if he looses even a tiny bit of funding for his White House Bid it may just be worth it. Hopefully by that time America will be ready for someone that at least vaguely resembles a socialist. (I can hope cant I?)
